Stuart graduated with an LLB in 2011 from the University of KwaZulu Natal, Pietermaritzburg campus and thereafter completed his articles in Pietermaritzburg. Stuart was admitted as an attorney in February 2014 and following his admission relocated to the Western Cape to further his studies. Stuart practised as an attorney in Cape Town during 2014 and 2015, and whilst practising completed his master’s in law. Stuart was awarded his LLM from Stellenbosch University, with a specific focus in Labour Law in March 2016. Stuart has experience in High Court and Magistrates Court Litigation including corporate and commercial litigation, Family Law, Labour or Employment Law and water law.
Outside of work Stuart is an avid sport enthusiast and enjoys playing cricket, hockey and golf. He also has a passion for wildlife with a keen interest in photography and loves spending time in nature and the outdoors to keep a balanced lifestyle. Stuart also believes in giving back to the community and is a member of Grahamstown Roundtable #11.
